Pre-Travel Preparation

Whenever it comes to travel, I get paranoid and I need to know exactly what needs to be done (only when we're travelling to another country). With the long travel comes all these responsibilites in making sure you have the right passport, visas, necessary documents, identification, baggage rules, security clearance etc. etc. etc... Also don't forget if you're changing planes, then I get nightmares of delayed flights and missing my plane for the connecting flight.

I always call the airline and make sure that I get all the answers before my flight but the problem is that you never get one answer...you get many answers and many different answers each time you talk to an airline agent. One person says something and other person says something else. I've realized this after making many phone calls to united airlines. Finally, the last agent I talked to, I asked her to confirm her answer with her supervisor and then I get an answer that I'm satisfied with. Phewww....well this is just the beginning, the real fun will start when we take our trip to India. Changing planes in Washington dulles and London....THAT WILL BE AN EXPERIENCE OF LIFETIME. Don't worry, I'll keep you posted on how it was!!
